Strutting the Paris Fashion Week in a head-to-toe Rabanne x H&M outfit comprising a pair of dazzling pants and a shimmery top, Athiya looked like a vision in the aforementioned stunning ensemble. The outfit looked like an apt mix and match of comfort and chic. In an exclusive chat with Masala!, Athiya divulges thoughts behind her style statements, the inspiration behind her drooling looks and talks about her latest collab with H&M. Here are some excerpts:

Masala: H&M exudes comfort and daily wear. How relevant is this to your everyday style?

Athiya Shetty: I think I’ve always been someone who loves being comfortable in what they’re wearing and that’s where I think my personal style resonates with H&M.

Masala: Your fashion game has always been one for the books. Do you think with H&M, you’d be able to explore more into the unknown territories?

Athiya Shetty: I have always enjoyed H&M’s fashion and I think this collection is something that has helped me explore festive wear with a whole new and different perspective.

Masala: As a fashion enthusiast, in your opinion, who do you consider to be the best-dressed Bollywood actress?

Athiya Shetty: Rekha ji, her timeless sense of fashion – she’s a classic fav.

Masala: If you had the opportunity to style the shimmery Rabanne top you wore in Paris Fashion Week in some other way, how would you choose to style it?

Athiya Shetty: I absolutely love that top. I think it can be paired with a darker pair of bottoms or even a skirt for that matter and it would still look super chic.

Masala: You’ve collaborated with fashion brands before. What is it about H&M and their style that made you join hands with them now?

Athiya Shetty: As I said, my style is very comfortable-oriented while being fashionable. What H&M does with their clothes is pretty similar to what I would reach out for and that’s what made me join hands with them.

Masala: Who has been your style icon in your growing years? Where do you look for a source of inspiration in your fashion wear now?

Athiya Shetty: Rekha ji – she’s an ICON and I just love the confidence with which she carries herself no matter what she’s wearing. A big part of your style is the attitude with which you carry yourself and the outfit. If you feel good, you will look good!
